Area Manager

The job & your missions

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced sales manager to join our team. As an Area Manager, you will be the sales leader for your region.

Reporting to the Director of the Animal Care Business Unit, you will manage and expand a network of specialized distributors. You will be responsible for growing and retaining our customer base while driving sales growth in our sector. Proficiency in analytical tools and sales techniques is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

➤ Define and implement your region’s sales strategy in line with the group’s objectives

➤ Recruit, manage, and retain a network of distribution partners (resellers, independent sales representatives)

➤ Grow sales of our natural product lines in the beef, pork, poultry, and sheep sectors

➤ Conduct regular on-site visits to farms to demonstrate the added value of our products

➤ Train distributors' sales teams on our approach and solutions

➤ Ensure thorough reporting (CRM, sales forecasts, visit reports)

➤ Attend trade shows and industry events (Space, Sommet de l’Élevage, etc.)

➤ Work with the marketing and R&D teams to identify needs on the ground

Your profile

Education & Experience:

➤ Bachelor’s degree in business or from an agricultural/food engineering school, with a strong interest in business

➤ At least 5 years of relevant experience in B2B export sales

 

Skills & Qualities:

➤ Excellent business acumen and a strong appetite for challenges

➤ Independence, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills

➤ Excellent command of spoken and written English

➤ Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build lasting relationships based on trust

➤ Teaching skills and the ability to explain technical information in layman's terms

➤ Knowledge of or interest in natural approaches and animal welfare

➤ Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office

➤ A Class B driver's license is required
