Better manage vine stress and improve yields with the BOSCA range
Biodevas technology – producers share their experience
At EARL de Caubeyre (Lot-et-Garonne), growers have observed a much more homogeneous vineyard, with greater consistency across plots and positive results overall — even under difficult conditions, from excess water during winter to severe water stress since late spring.
At Domaine de Chiroulet (Larroque-sur-l’Osse), positive results have been recorded for the grape varieties tested over the past four years. The cumulative effect of BOSCA applications has proven especially beneficial under water stress conditions. “Moreover, using natural solutions to produce better aligns perfectly with our philosophy.”
At Domaine de Fortunet (Gers), the team testifies: “After two years of trials on Sauvignon, Gros Manseng and Petit Manseng, I can only note the positive results, with better berry uniformity. These products truly work.”

These testimonials about the BOSCA range from Biodevas Laboratoires confirm the company’s R&D work and the results obtained through independent trials.
Supporting the vine throughout its entire growth cycle
Specially designed to accompany vines from budburst to harvest, the BOSCA range helps regulate plant physiology and stimulate natural defense mechanisms to:
• Limit the impact of stress during the season
A trial conducted in Burgundy on a plot exposed to severe water deficit and large temperature variations showed lower water stress levels (as measured by water potential) in treated vines.
The study also revealed better berry growth during ripening — indicated by the Δ¹³C measurement in grape must — while maintaining yield levels (see January 2024 article).
• Improve yield quantity and consistency
Trials carried out over several years have shown yield increases ranging from 5 to 20%, depending on the plot and grape variety.
A 2024 trial in Burgundy recorded an 11% increase in the weight of 200 berries, with must quality maintained.
• Promote better nutrient reserves for uniform regrowth the following year
Reserve building is the third pillar of vine nutrition. It determines the nutrient potential of floral organs — and therefore the following year’s yield.
Monitoring of plots treated with the BOSCA program in 2024 showed, by spring 2025, a 39% higher number of clusters and 5% longer bunches in an organic Muscadet vineyard. At harvest, this translated into a 38% higher crop weight.

A more resilient and balanced vine
These results and field feedback demonstrate that vines treated with BOSCA are more productive, more balanced, and better equipped to face seasonal stress, while preparing for the following season and expressing their full potential.
